Automatic cooking oil System:
1. Cleaning and Pre-Treatment Part
Includes magnetic separator, vibrating screen, and destoner to remove metals, stones, plant residues, dust, and immature seeds. Additional equipment (aspiration channel, huller, separator) removes husks and splits kernels to obtain clean, dehulled sunflower kernels for optimal oil extraction.
2. Oil Extraction and Crude Oil Treatment Part
The kernels are conditioned (heated/moistened) to optimize oil release, then pressed in a screw press for mechanical extraction. For higher yield, solvent extraction may follow. The crude oil undergoes preliminary filtration to remove solid residues (cake fines), resulting in unrefined sunflower oil ready for purification.
3. Refining and Packaging Part
The crude oil is refined through four key stages:
Degumming (removes phospholipids)
Neutralization (eliminates free fatty acids)
Bleaching (adsorbs pigments and impurities)
Deodorization (removes odors and volatiles via steam distillation under vacuum)
The final clear, stable, and neutral-flavored refined sunflower oil is cooled, optionally winterized (to prevent clouding), and packaged into bottles, flexitanks, or bulk containers for distribution.
